"I was trying to brake on skies at Hidden Valley down the fast slopes and I hit a snowboarders track. The ski caught, and the saftey feature didn't work so it turned my lower legs 90 degrees where I kept going forward and it snapped my ACL. I tried to stand back up, but I couldn't and they had to send ski patrol to come and get me. It was really embarrasing, they towed me on a sled behind the ski mobile. I later had surgery where they had to take part of my muscle out of the front and use it to make a new ACL ligament."
